First Anniversary on dA!

Hello folks! It's been a year since I joined dA and I can't even find the words to express how much this community has helped me grow, both as a person and as an artist.

My skills have improved a lot during these 12 months thanks to all of the wonderful people who have commented on my works and given me their opinions and advice. I've also made new, unforgettable friends I'm sure I wouldn't have met if I hadn't decided to register on that 17th of June, 2012.
So, to express my grattitude to this community I'm going to feature my favorite artwork from the people who have been supporting me the most this year. Let's get started!

New project + New coloured pencils!

So, my mom just got me a set of 60 Faber-Castell Polychromos coloured pencils! I haven't tried them yet, but UGH, I'm so excited!
On the other hand, I've decided to start a collection of drawings, which I will call "Children of the World", portraying children of different ethnicities. The portraits will, in most cases, combine graphite pencils and coloured pencils.

Happy National Day! / Back to school

So, September 11 is Catalonia's National day (La Diada). Shoutouts to all the Catalans on deviantArt, visca Catalunya!
And the not-so-happy part, I'm going back to school tomorrow TT_TT So, I won't be able to draw as much as I've been doing lately, but I'll still try to upload something every now and then, and I'll still check dA daily si feedback is always welcome!

1. I have Asperger's Syndrome, a mild type of autism. I feel happy about it.
2. I like gaming, and my all-time faves are Pokémon, EarthBound and Trauma Center.
3. I live in Barcelona, which is in Catalonia, which is in Spain. I love my city's modernist buildings.
4. I'm very loyal to my friends, but they are not that loyal to me ¬¬
5. I like Lou Bega, the one-hit wonder (Mambo nº 5) A LOT. I listen to his most recent album (yeah, he still sings) almost every day xD

1)How would you describe yourself in 3 words? Weird, different and rational.
2)Who is your most favorite person in the whole wide world and why? My grandpa. I love him so much, and he is the only member of my family who understands me and sides with me.
3)What do you wanna do when you grow up? Do you have any dreams?what are they? I want to be an astrophysicist, and my dream since I was 11 years old is to win a Nobel Prize xD
4)If you could be an animal which would you be and why? A cat. Cats match my personality. And they get to be treated like gods and spend all day doing whatever they want. Could you ask for more?
5)Do you like school? why? why not? I guess I do, I like learning a lot, but I don't like it when my classmates pick on me.
6)What's you favorite food? (if you like gummy bears ur awesome) I do like gummy bears, yeeaaaah xD But, my favorite food is definitely pasta!
7)What type of movies do you enjoy watching? I like most genres, especially drama, sci-fi and comedy.
8)What is your fave quote? "Definition of a classic — something that everybody wants to have read and nobody wants to read." - Mark Twain (Samuel Langhorne Clemens)
9)Do you have a role model? Who is it? That would definitely be Stephen Hawking.
10)If you had a flying pony that farted rainbows and pooped ice cream what would you name it? xD Princess (me and some classmate's inside joke xD)
11)Do you consider yourself a realist,an optimist or a pessimist? I am a realist, both when it comes to my art and when it comes to my life.

I'm going on vacation!

Yep. Tomorrow I'm going to Seville, Spain to visit my best friend. I'll be there until the 31st, but I'll be checking dA daily and I'll probably upload something every now and then.
